At Amato Fine Jewelry & Body Piercing, we are dedicated to providing you with a clean, positive experience and leaving you with a beautiful piercing that will last you a lifetime.

Our piercers are exceptionally trained and skilled, BBP, CPR and First-Aid certified. We are dedicated to staying on the forefront of safety techniques by continuing their education every year at the Association of Professional Piercers Conference. Beyond that we are also APP Members.

The Association of Professional Piercers is a California-based, international non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of vital health and safety information about body piercing to piercers, health care professionals, legislators, and the general public.

Being a member of the APP means that our studio meets specific environmental criteria about sterilization, safety, cleanliness. It also means we only pierce with implant grade jewelry, designed for long term wear in the body. The APP is a voluntary organization, and we choose to be members in an effort to provide the best service possible for our clients, and also to remain active members in moving our industry forward.

We execute each piercing with patience and care, whether it is a child’s earlobe, a popular navel, nostril, or septum; or a more complex ear project, surface, or genital piercing.

Bring Valid ID

In this state for anyone over the age of 18 a state-issued photo ID is acceptable, preferably a Drivers License. For anyone under the age of 18 we have very specific requirements. We need photo ID for the parent or legal guardian signing, and some form of photo ID for the minor. This can be a passport OR a birth certificate and school ID. If you have any questions about ID please call ahead to speak to our staff. We do have an on site notary, and charge a $10 fee. If you would prefer to get it notarized elsewhere that is acceptable as well and we can send you the documents.

Flexible Appointments

Walk-ins are welcome Wednesday – Sunday but if you are on a time crunch we recommend booking an appointment. We take walk-ins on a first come-first served basis. Whenever you are ready for that new piercing you can feel free to drop by. We take last piercings of the night 30 minutes before closing. We can get busy so please be patient- we will get to everyone! The only piercings we strictly do by appointment only are children lobes (10 and younger), paired high nostrils, and paired Microdermals, and we greatly encourage appointments for any genital work.

Be Flexible

Here at Amato we only want to do piercings that will heal well, and be healthy. That does sometimes mean because of unique anatomy or piercing requirements we can’t do all piercings on all bodies. We wouldn’t ever want to say no to a client, but we will turn people away for piercings that we do not think will heal. We also can’t start every piercing with every piece of jewelry, and while you can get into them once healed, we can’t always start them out like that.

Eat First, Arrive Sober

We highly recommend clients have a moderate meal a few hours before getting any piercing. Having food in your stomach helps your blood sugar levels during piercing, and for oral piercings it’s much easier to eat before you get pierced rather then after. We also request all clients arrive sober. Not only is it not legal for us to pierce you under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but it will also make the process much more painful and uncomfortable then it has to be.
